Creative Brief

The Admiral Nimitz Foundation was established to honor Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz and the men and women who served in, and supported, the WWII Asiatic-Pacific Theater Operations. A call-to-action campaign was created to educate and inspire future generations about their legacy.

The "Legacy Giving" campaign aims to raise awareness of the organization's crucial fundraising program. They needed an articulated strategy that aligned with the foundation's education and inspiration goals that would also resonate with sustaining and prospective donors.

The Creative Process

  • Step 1.

    Concept Development

The Admiral Nimitz Foundation prides itself on remembering and educating younger generations about the lessons learned from the Pacific War. Our team interviewed founding Legacy Giving members about their contributions and what moved them to donate at this level.

  • Step 2.

    Pre-Production

Working closely with key foundation team members, pixelreflex media developed a script and storyboard following the interviews to outline the dominant themes uncovered in order to craft the stories in the unique voice of each project participant.

    Step 2.

    Pre-Production
  • Step 3.

    Video Production

Working together, locations were scouted, evaluated, and approved before on-location video production took place.

  • Step 4.

    The Results

Once the interview videos were edited to create compelling individual stories, the project came together to achieve the desired goals, and the foundation received a multi-layered donor marketing program that they could utilize for many years to come.
