Ashley Keen

Ashley Keen, who grew up in foster care, came to SAMMinistries’ Transitional Living and Learning Center with her two children. She wanted to become a veterinary technician because she loved math and science. She holds her Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency, a GED she completed through Restore Education, in portraits made for SAMMinistries. Her Journeys of Hope video for the annual gala tells how she finished an intensive eight-week GED program in three weeks.
