What headshots cost
in San Antonio

The short answer
With pixelreflex MEDIA, an individual headshot session is $350: one hour, two looks and three fully retouched headshots. For a whole office, a team half day is $1,800 for up to 15 people, and a team full day is $3,200 for up to 35.
With 15 people on a half day, that works out to $120 a person, or about $91 a person with 35 on a full day. On a half day, each person beyond 15 is $95.
Prices vary a lot around town. When we read the prices San Antonio photographers publish, in October 2026, individual sessions started anywhere from under $200 to about $350, and the two studios that publish on-site team rates charged about $50 to $150 a person, one of them with a day minimum. Some studios only quote on request, so take those numbers as a rough guide.
What each price includes
- Individual, $350. A 1-hour session with 2 wardrobe or background looks, live image review on set and 3 fully retouched headshots.
- Executive, $950. Up to 2 hours on location with 3 looks, including a classic headshot and an environmental portrait in your workplace, and 5 fully retouched images.
- Team half day, $1,800. On site for up to 15 people, with 1 retouched headshot each.
- Team full day, $3,200. On site for up to 35 people. On request, we can match the lighting and background of the team headshots you already have.
Every session includes a planning call, lighting, color and retouching of your selections, and a private online gallery. More retouched images from the gallery are $75 each.
What changes the price
- How many people. On a team day, one setup serves everyone, so the cost per person drops as more people fill the day.
- Looks and finished images. An individual session comes with two looks and three retouched headshots, and an executive session with three looks and five images. Each extra retouched image is $75.
- Hair and makeup. A hair and makeup artist can be added from $500 per half day.
- Speed. Rush delivery is 25% more.
- Location. We set up a studio backdrop at your office, or photograph people in their workplace or outdoors. Travel outside the San Antonio area is quoted separately.
- Where the photos will run. Your own channels are covered with no time limit. Paid advertising is licensed separately.
Our prices are for the standard scope, don’t include sales tax and are subject to change.
How fast the files arrive
Each person gets a private gallery link the next business day to choose a favorite, and retouched headshots arrive the next business day after the picks. Need them even sooner? Rush delivery is 25% more.
That’s faster than most San Antonio studios that publish a turnaround. Of the eight we found, three offer same-day or instant delivery, and most of the others take longer than we do.
One person or the whole office?
For one leader, attorney, physician or speaker, the individual or executive session fits. For an office, a team day puts everyone in the same light, on the same backdrop and with the same crop, so the photos match on your website, in your staff directory and on LinkedIn.

Common questions
How long does each person take on a team day?
About 10 minutes each, with coaching and a quick look at the camera screen. A half day covers up to 15 people, with each extra person $95, and a full day up to 35, so people can step out between meetings.
How do we pay?
A 50% deposit reserves your date, and the balance is due at delivery. Government and school clients may use a purchase order in place of a deposit.
Where can we use the headshots?
On your own channels, including your website, staff directory, LinkedIn and other social media, press, proposals and print, with no time limit. Each person can also use their own headshot on their personal LinkedIn profile and speaker bios. Paid advertising is licensed separately.
Do you retouch every photo?
We retouch the selections, so people look like themselves, never over-smoothed. On a team day, that’s one retouched headshot per person, and more are $75 each.
Can you photograph people at our conference?
Yes. We can run a headshot station for attendees as part of your event coverage, priced with the event.
Is there a rush fee?
Yes. Rush delivery on headshots, portraits and brand work is an extra 25%.
Will people we hire later match our team headshots?
Yes. We keep a record of the backdrop, lights and camera settings from your team day, so a new hire matches the people already on your website. Each new hire is booked as an individual session, $350.
How much room do you need at our office?
A conference room or an empty office about 10 by 15 feet, with an outlet. We bring the backdrop, lights and stands, and setup takes about 45 minutes.
