Event recap videos

Your event happens once. A recap shows people who missed it what it felt like to be there, and it gives you something to share long after. See how we captured National Apprenticeship Day and Día del Árbol for the City of San Antonio.
Your date sets the schedule
Tell us your date on the first call, and we plan back from it. For San Antonio Parks and Recreation, we shot Día del Árbol on a Saturday and delivered it Monday morning. We delivered the City of San Antonio’s National Apprenticeship Day video the morning after the event.
Event coverage can turn around the same day or in 24 hours. Same-day delivery carries a 20% rush fee, and next-day delivery 10%.

What a recap can hold
The Día del Árbol video mixes tree-care advice from experts with people naming their favorite trees. At SEE Your Future Career Day, a free STEM event hosted by KLRN, presenters talk about getting young people interested in careers in energy. At the Operation Heal*arious Comedy Show, hosted by American Legion Alamo Post 2, veterans and military spouses share how comedy has helped them through difficult times.
Some recaps are short, like our 30-second video of the NPower San Antonio spring graduation. Others cover a service day, like Students of Service volunteers removing graffiti or volunteering at Haven for Hope.

Photos from the same event
If you want photos too, tell us on the first call so we can plan both. Half- and full-day photo bookings get a preview of 25 to 30 edited images the next morning, and the full gallery arrives within 72 hours. See our event photography and video and photography in one shoot.
Packages and pricing
Event video is quoted on the discovery call. For a sense of range, our Spotlight package, built for uses like event highlights, starts at $6,000 for one 1- to 2-minute video. See all our packages.
Common questions
How long does an event recap run?
Event recaps run 1 to 3 minutes, plus short clips for social. Event videos played in the room run 2 to 4 minutes. Our National Apprenticeship Day video for the City of San Antonio runs three minutes, and Día del Árbol runs two. The NPower San Antonio spring graduation recap runs 30 seconds.
What do you need from us before the event?
Your run of show, so we're in place before each speaker, award and toast. For the video, who should speak on camera, where it will play and your deadline. If you want photos too, tell us on the first call so we can plan both. The names of your sponsors, honorees and VIPs, with a photo of each if you can, help us find them in a full room.
Do we need to line up people to talk on camera?
Tell us before the day who should speak on camera. At Día del Árbol, experts gave tree-care advice and people named their favorite trees. At National Apprenticeship Day, people at the event talk about what registered apprenticeships are and aren't, and why some employers hold back. At the Operation Heal*arious Comedy Show, veterans and military spouses share how comedy has helped them through difficult times.
Can we approve the video before it's shared?
Yes. You review the edit in a private online review portal, and your notes shape the final version. For next-morning delivery, name one person on your side who can review it the morning it arrives.
What moves the price of an event video?
Hours of coverage and how soon you need the video. Same-day delivery carries a 20% rush fee, and next-day delivery 10%. Travel outside the San Antonio area and additional shoot days are quoted separately. We quote event video on the discovery call, so tell us your date and your budget range.
Can the same crew photograph the event?
Yes, we plan video and photography into one production, with one crew, one schedule and one point of contact. Event photography starts at $350 an hour with a 2-hour minimum. A half day of up to five hours is $1,500, and a full day of up to 10 hours is $2,800. We quote video and photography together, as one project, on the first call.
Will the video have captions?
Yes. Captions are part of our post-production, and they serve viewers who watch with the sound off and people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Spanish subtitles on an English video let one video reach both audiences, and we deliver them on a regular basis.
How do we book our date?
Tell us your date on the first call, and we plan back from it. A 50% deposit begins the project, and the balance is due at final delivery. Final files are released once the balance is paid. Government and school clients may use a purchase order in place of a deposit.
