One word at a time, this 50-second San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA) fundraising spot spells out its title line: “Social distancing is best with those who love you unconditionally.” The line runs three times, and between runs, three words keep coming back: adopt, foster, donate.

Then the spot turns: “More than ever their survival depends on you.” “Please,” it adds, before a last round of adopt, foster and donate. The rescue’s web address, sanantoniopetsalive.org, stays on screen the whole time. It’s one of three fundraising spots we made for SAPA, each 42 to 60 seconds long.
